January 2019 goals + new ninety-day goals

written by Betsy Flak on 2019-01-16

Okay, we've finally covered just about everything for the new year. We've got: 2018's broad accomplishments; 2018's detailed goal results; and 2019's goals. Now, it's the last step: setting new ninety-day goals for January through March and defining January's goals. We're a little late considering it's halfway through the month already, so let's hop to it!

As a reminder, you can see the results for the October - December 2018 goals and for the December 2018 goals in 2018's detailed goal results. Also, these ninety-day goals are being pulled from my 2019 goals. January's goals (and February's and March's) will then be pulled from these same ninety-day goals.

January - March 2019 Goals

  1. Book Three of The Clan-Vampire Clash series: Finish final draft by March 31st, 2019 (super-stretch goal according to 2019 goals).
  2. Book Four: Finalize outline. Stretch goal: Write rough draft.
  3. Season two of Sam's story (Troupe-only side story): Finish the developmental editing of the entire season. Line edit, copyedit, proofread, and publish Chapters Four through Eight to The Troupe (my readers group). This is a super-stretch goal according to my 2019 goals.
  4. Analyze the results of A Brush with Betrayal's launch. Adapt both launch and promotion strategies accordingly. Begin launch prep for Book Three.
  5. Continue work with Amazon ads. Would like to have them mastered by the end of June, but that is on the faster end of expectations.
  6. Continue scheduling cross promotions, giveaways, etc.

  4. Analyze the results of A Brush with Betrayal's launch. Adapt both launch and promotion strategies accordingly.
  5. Continue work with Amazon ads.
  6. Schedule cross promotions and giveaways through February and into March.

And as usual, let's see what I was doing this time last year.
